Founded in 1993, MedEquip Biomedical rapidly grew to become the leading national independent service and repair center for physiological monitors and monitoring service components. In response to the needs of a growing customer community, MedEquip began to sell and rent a variety of pre-owned refurbished and reconditioned patient monitors, offering its clients a cost effective alternative to buying new physiological monitors. The company specializes in four major manufacturers product lines. They are HP/Philips, GE/Marquette, Spacelab and Siemens. This covers over 90% of the installed base of physiological monitors in the united states. As budgets have become tighter. Hospitals have to do more with less, which is why MedEquip generally saves it's customers 40% - 60% more than what the manufacturer charges. All monitoring products and service components comes with a standard one year warranty. For monitoring sales, MedEquip offers it's customers an opportunity to evaluate any product for one month prior to purchase. From the customer's perspective this takes the risk out of purchasing pre-owned equipment. All monitoring products look as close to new as possible and every monitor comes with brand new accessory items.

MedEquip Biomedical is owned and managed by Biomedical professionals. This gives the company a unique expertise and level of experience to provide unparalleled service solutions. The Technical Support Center is staffed by former in-house Biomedical technicians who have been through the manufacturers service schools and offer free technical support for their major product lines. There are also staff members that are former employee's of monitoring manufacturers. The level of phone support offered is equal or at times better than what the manufacturer provides. There are times when technical support is not the answer. MedEquip has staff members who's expertise is in clinical application support. The companies philosophy is to one way or another offer it's client a guaranteed solution to their problem. If it is determined that a particular monitor needs to be shipped to the Depot Repair Center, customers are charged only for the parts that are used to repair their unit. MedEquip does not charge for labor and offers free loaners when available.

Medequip is currently in process of moving to a state of the art 13,000sq. ft facility. The number of employee's stands at twenty-four with additional staff expected to be added this year.
