Celebrating 20 years!
For more than 20 years Netech Corporation has been designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality, reliable test instruments for use in medical and industrial application.
The 20th Anniversary Year
The year 2007 is a significant year for the Netech Corporation. The celebration began in late 2006 when Netech procured a new facility in Farmingdale, New York.
New Facility
This relocation was not just a pick up and move operation, valuable resources were dedicated to creating a new manufacturing environment for the company to move into. The existing structure was carefully re-designed to meet the requirements of Netech. Offices started to appear, followed by a production area, then a calibration Laboratory and finally a Research & Development area.
The time had come to transport over 20,000 product components, subassemblies, and assembles on a perilous 25-mile journey from Hicksville to Farmingdale, NY.
Anxious staff members waited for the arrival, frantic hours were spent organizing. The mission was finally accomplished and a new facility was born.
New Focus
Although Netech has always focused on its customers, this façade of the business has never been under such intense scrutiny as it is now. Twenty years of experience has taught us that the most basic principle “customer satisfaction” is the most important element of the business. 2007 will redefine Netech’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
New Research and Development
Another key element to our 20th Anniversary year is our dedication to development of new products. Again the process started to grow in 2006 and will bear fruit during 2007.
Netech will be introducing shortly a new all-purpose medical device analyzer/tester/simulator. This device was designed with the field engineer in mind.
Functions Would Include:
• Full Functional Safety Analyzer
• 12 Lead ECG
• Four Independent Channels of IBP with
both static and dynamic waveforms
• Respiration Waveform derived from lead
impedance or a waveform representing
gas flow from an external gas source
• Gas Flow Switching utilizing an external
gas source, which simulate spirometric
respiration waveforms
• Cardiac Output simulation based on
Baxter-Edwards cardiac output curve.
• Temperature simulation for both 400
and 700 series probes
• SPO2 Simulation for both Masimo and
Nellcor systems through direct con-
nection to instrument
The power of a Biomedical Engineering Laboratory built into a small, compact, portable & lightweight enclosure.
More Netech designed innovative products are on the conveyor belt for introduction in 2007.
New Commitment
The 20th Anniversary Celebration has driven Netech into a mood of self-awareness. Where it has been, from a basement workshop operated by a Biomedical Engineer to a leader in Test Instrumentation for Healthcare and Industry. Rejuvenation of ideas, root cause analysis of problem areas and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence have inspired Netech and its staff to look ahead at what the company can develop into.
About Netech and Its Founder
Since emigrating from India in 1980, it seemed that Netech founder and president Mohan Das, Ph.D., was destined for such a career path. As a former biomedical specialist for a Long Island hospital, he maintained existing and new medical equipment and assessed new technologies being introduced to the hospital. But he soon realized the growing need for more specialized instrumentation that was specifically designed and suited for maintaining a wide range of equipment and technologies. In 1987, he left his position at the hospital and founded Netech Corp. The first Netech products were a pressure adapter, patient simulator and pressure meter. Mohan Das, Ph.D. holds patents for several devices, including a telephonic transmitter and receiver for ECG signals.
An ISO 9001-2000 certified company, Netech has built on its longstanding commitment to quality and core value. Along with ISO, the company has also received CE marking on most products – two key considerations for international customers. While the U.S. comprises the largest share of the worldwide biomedical test instrument market and has the most stringent regulations on testing, many countries are currently developing and expanding their own regulations.
